Quality Ag Hire has been helping South Island farmers since 2009 by providing reliable agricultural machinery for cultivation, drilling, pasture renewal and fencing projects. Whether you need a seed drill for seasonal work or specialist cultivation equipment for a larger project, our experienced team can recommend the right machinery for your property and farming system. We work with dairy, sheep, beef, cropping and mixed farming operations throughout Canterbury and across the South Island.
We specialise in hiring the best machinery at fair rates, so you can get optimal results without paying the earth. We prefer Taege machinery as we have years of experience with them, both in manufacturing and maintainance, and we know how good they are.
We’re based in Canterbury and service the entire South Island. We have machinery stationed at different locations so that we can deliver with minimal lead times.
If required, we can deliver, setup and calibrate the machinery for you so you have confidence the job will be done right. We’ll make sure you know how to use the machinery to it’s optimal, and we can even hang around for a while just to be sure.

I wanted to ensure that all farmers could access the best machinery for the job even if they couldn’t justify the expense of purchasing themselves. Hiring machinery as required means that you have less capital tied up in rarely used equipment, but still have the machinery onsite as and when needed. We’ll deliver, and set-up machines if required, and even hang around for a while to make sure it’s all going smoothly.
